If the food was a disappointment, the weather was not.
A perfect day for visiting the Himeji Castle.
Being a Friday there was not too many people.

Himeji Castle is called the White Egret because of it's shiny appearance in the sun.

The castle was reopened in March after five years of dismantling and repair, so actually this season was the first in many years you really could enjoy it in it's full capacity.
