The plan for 2016 will be a lot depending on the weather, which means we don’t know if we stay in Alaska / Canada over the winter.
The alternative is to continue down to Mexico by the end of this year.
We hope to be able to make landfall on Attu, the first island in Alaska/Aleutians, but if not we just continue east.
As we have been sailing in Alaska before we know a little about where to go to find what we need…
We start the journey heading west through the Japanese inland sea, Seto Naikai, then follow the west coast up to Hokkaido.
Kushiro on Hokkaido’s south east coast will be the last Japanese port from where we plan to leave in mid June.
On our way north we will go day-hopping mostly and only go sailing overnight when the weather invites us to do so.
We just can’t visit all harbours and anchorages…
