January 2020
Week 53 – 4 January 2021 Bohus Malmön 72 nm sailing 126 km hiking
January has been cold and frosty.
We have only managed to go sailing ones after arriving to the dock 4th of January.
After almost three weeks at the dock we sailed north in amazingly clear and beautiful weather, but very cold. The temperature was well below freezing.
After a few days we turned south and had to break ice in one canal. Arriving at our harbour we had to break ice for 200 meters to reach the dock.
Last year we made 1000 nm sailing throughout the winter. This year seems to be quite different, to say the least! Freezing temperatures are predicted for most of February.
Lucky us to have a warm and cozy boat!
We have not yet got full access to our house, but go there by car a day or two every week to find out about the surroundings.
