Aug-Dec 2021
Week 22 – 33 August – December 2021 Tyfta, no sailing…
We haven’t done much sailing, almost none, during the whole period. Our house project has been prio one, above everything seven days a week.
In late November we joined a Christmas dinner event together with nine other crews. We were lucky to have the shortest trip to the harbor, except for one boat that had its slip where the dinner was held. We got the first snowfall this season during dinner. Two days in Moon away from our house project was a pleasant break!
Our house project is quite time consuming, but we are beginning to see the light in the tunnel.
During Christmas Eve we unpacked all kitchen parcels and the rest of the holidays the kitchen came in place. Suddenly the house looks almost ready!
But there is still a lot to take care of. We hope to be able to start using the bottom floor in March, but because we live upstairs where we have a complete “flat” we aren’t actually in a hurry.
During the holiday we got a lot of snow, which is very important because of the few hours we see the sun at wintertime.
We still hope there we will be sailing abroad with Moon, starting late spring, Covid permitting!!
