Fifth day sailing in nice wind.
Have done 138+144+166+163+166 nm.
This day didn’t start well!
While charging the batteries with the engine the gearbox gave up and at that time we had 390 nm left to Stornoway.
What and why we don’t know and the box is new since May 2015.
Just to face it and sail on.
The good is that it looks like we will have good winds for another day – but then veering to east – and that is before will make landfall…
