From Lagos, Portugal to Cape Horn - Patagonia, south part of
South America AND Antarctica
   
Falkland Islands to Ushuaia Argentina
Mar del Plata to Stanley Harbour, Falkland Islands
Piriápolis, Uruguay to Mar del Plata, Argentina

This is really a shallow passage, maximum 25m
Vitoria to Piriápolis, Uruguay

Stop over in Boziós, Rio, Ihla Grande, Santos, Paranagua, Porto Belo and Enseada da Pinheira.

The best area was Ihla Grande and the archipelago in the nw and sw of Baia Ihla Grande
Itaparica, Salvador to Vitoria.

Short stopover in Morro Sao Paulo, Baia de Camamu and the Abrolhos islands.

In the shallow coastal waters it hard not to see a Humpback whale this time of the year - fantastic!

A trip on dry land to Amazonas, which is not very dry in this  season. The distance in Brazil is enormous. The option to travel are by bus and riverboat, takes over a week, or fly there in one day. Salvador - Manaus over 2000 km  

 
The Canaries to  Salvador, Brazil via Cape Verde
820 + 1900 nm.

The 17th of June, the equator .

South from Salvador we will follow the coastline to Patagonia. If the whether is favourable we will try to visit the Falkland islands /Malvinas

 It's  2900 nm to Cape Horn!
Lagos to Madeira and The Canaries
450 + 270 nm

Next trip to Cap Verde  800nm!
