Charts and Maps from the journey with Lindisfarne
From Gothenburg to Tromsö and down to Portugal
A journey of 4650nm and 5 and a half month.
1 of May to October 8
From Gothenburg to Lagos in Portugal.
Headwind - tailwind - strong wind - no wind
From Camaret, tailwind most of the time to Lagos
Our attempt to reach Island. Heavy sea and 35 knot headwind and a
forecast with even more wind in even worse angel made us turn south. With
only 100nm left to the harbour of Höfn was this not an easy decision. But it
was a safe decision we havent regret. Southeast 160nm later we reached the Faeroe
islands 5 days and 600nm...
We have now sailed along 2/3 of the coast of Norway (1080nm of
1400nm) and that is as long the hole coast of Sweden! Our turning point lays
north of Sweden and east of Åland! You will very soon learn your Geography
by travel in this manner.
